Ranga Reddy court sentences couple to life imprisonment for robbing, murdering women
The couple targeted lonely women, with the wife assisting her husband in the crimes.
HYDERABAD: A Ranga Reddy district court has sentenced to life imprisonment for the brutal murders and robberies of two women.
The couple, a couple, Ravi and Narsamma, residents of IDA Bollaram in Vikarabad district, targeted lonely women, committing heinous acts of violence and robbery.
In July 2021, Ravi lured two women on separate occasions, promising them work. On July 18 and July 25, he took them to isolated areas on his vehicle. Once there, he raped and killed the victims, later stealing their jewellery and cash. His wife, Narsamma, was present during both incidents, holding the women down when they resisted and helping her husband carry out the crimes.
The Ranga Reddy district court, after a thorough investigation, found the couple guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
