SHE team arrests man for blackmailing girl after she denied sexual activity

HYDERABAD: A man named Shreekar (29), a corporate employee in Gachibowli, was sentenced to five days imprisonment for harassing a 23-year-old woman.

Reportedly, Shreekar promised the girl that they would get married in the future and started asking her to indulge in sexual activity with him. The girl denied his request after which he started blackmailing her to share their photographs with her family. The girl, who almost killed herself, contacted the SHE team.

The SHE team gathered evidence against him and produced him in the Nampally court where the Special Metropolitan Magistrate accorded him five days in jail.
