Software engineer dies during Ganesh festival laddu auction in Manikonda

HYDERABAD: A software engineer passed away suddenly after attending the Ganesh laddu auction organised by the Ganesh Utsav Committee in Alkapuri Township, Manikonda. The engineer, identified as Shyam Prasad, reportedly bid up to Rs 15 lakh in the auction.

Shyam had been enjoying the festivities, including dancing at the Ganesh pandal. After spending considerable time dancing, he performed some steps for his friend, who had won the laddu. However, on his way home, Shyam collapsed. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
