Stray dogs maul newborn at Warangal's MGM Hospital

WARANGAL: A horrifying incident occurred at Warangal's MGM Hospital on Friday evening when stray dogs entered the hospital premises and attacked a newborn baby.

Security guards and relatives of other patients managed to chase the dogs away, but not before they had inflicted severe injuries on the infant.

The newborn's body, half-consumed by the dogs, has been placed in the hospital's mortuary. Due to the extent of the injuries, it became difficult to determine the baby's gender. Hospital authorities and the police have launched an investigation to ascertain where the infant came from and how this tragic incident occurred.
