Student killed as car crashes into flyover in Hyderabad

A 19-year-old student died after his speeding car crashed into a flyover in Hyderabad's Raidurgam area.

HYDERABAD: A horrific road accident in Hyderabad's Raidurgam area claimed the life of a 19-year-old student.

The incident occurred near Malkam Cheruvu when a speeding car, driven by a student, collided with the wall of a flyover. The impact of the crash left the car completely mangled, killing the student on the spot.

Police arrived at the scene after being notified and extricated the deceased from the wreckage. The victim was identified as Charan, a BBA student at ICFAI University. According to reports, Charan was returning to his residence in Mehdipatnam from BNR Hills when the accident occurred.

Police confirmed that Charan died on the spot and that it took two hours to retrieve his body from the mangled car. Preliminary investigations suggest excessive speed as the cause of the accident. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
