EFLU student ends life by jumping from hostel in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A female student pursuing her Masters at English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Tarnaka died by suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of her hostel building on Saturday.

Reportedly, Anjali (22), who hailed from Haryana, was pursuing her Masters in English literature and resides in Seethafalmandi. Anjali, while talking to her mother on her mobile phone jumped off the hostel building.

The police, who rushed to the spot, suspected that the girl resorted to suicide due to family problems. They shifted the body to Gandhi hospital from post-mortem and were carrying out further investigation.
