PEDDAPALLI: Thieves broke into bank ATMs in Godavarkhani of Peddapalli district and fled with a huge amount of cash. The incident created a flutter locally.
According to police, the thieves who entered ATMs, with the help of gas cutters, located at Goutami Nagar and Ganganagar in Godavarikhani broke the machine and escaped with a huge sum of cash.
Upon receiving the information, the police were alerted and registered a case and they started an investigation. The police, during their examination of the CCTV footage, were shocked to identify that the thieves had carried out the theft in a clever manner, avoiding being captured on camera.
However, an investigation is underway to ascertain more details about the theft and to identify the culprits.
