Thieves strike at early hours in Rajendranagar, decamp with booty

HYDERABAD: A gang of robbers broke into a house and stole 12 tolas of gold and silver jewellery and cash from a house in Rajendranagar in the early hours of Saturday.

The robbers trespassed into the property of Anant Kumar, a businessman, in Prakash Nagar colony of Upparpally.

Anant Kumar told the police that 12 tolas of gold and silver jewellery and cash were stolen from a cupboard in their bedroom. The victim said that the incident took place while the whole family was sleeping.

A case was registered and full details were yet to be known.
