Three killed as car hits DCM van in Mahbubnagar
A road accident near Bhutpur, Mahbubnagar, claimed three lives from Hyderabad, with two others seriously injured.;
HYDERABAD: Three people were killed when a car lost control and hit a stationary DCM van.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday near Tatikonda on National Highway 44 in Bhootpur of Mahbubnagar district. A car attempting to avoid a bike lost control and crashed into a stationary DCM truck.
The impact was so severe that three occupants of the car died on the spot, while two others sustained serious injuries. Local police, who quickly arrived at the scene, identified the victims as residents of Hyderabad. They were returning to Hyderabad from Tirupati at the time of the accident.
The car was completely mangled due to the force of the collision. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.
