Two killed, two injured as car crashes into RTC bus in Shamirpet

HYDERABAD: Two persons were killed on the spot and two others sustained severe injuries when the car they were travelling in lost control and crashed into a RTC bus and overturned.

The accident occured in the Shamirpet police limits on Friday.

The driver of the speeding car lost control and veered towards the oncoming RTC bus. In an attempt to avoid the collision, the car overturned. The RTC bus driver also tried to avoid the car, causing the bus to veer off the road. The injured persons were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. Local residents attribute the accident to the car driver's excessive speed.
