VRO assaults flood victim asking for water, food in Vijayawada

VIJAYAWADA: Flood victims in Vijayawada's Ajit Singh Nagar protested after being ignored when they asked for basic necessities like water, food, and rice.

During the protest, Ward 259 VRO Jayalakshmi allegedly slapped a victim who was recording a video of the situation. The victims demanded strict action against the VRO for the assault.
