Wage-earner arrested for kidnap of minor girl for gold jwellery

HYDERABAD: The Mahankali police arrested a daily wage labour who is accused of kidnapping a minor girl on Saturday. The accused was identified as Naroju Ramachary(34), working at Sri Vijaya Vaishnavi Mess, old Boiguda.

Eyeing the gold ornaments the girl was dressed-up in, the accused kidnapped her and allegedly sold her gold earrings.

Based on the complaint registered by the victim's family, the police searched the hideout of Ramachary and arrested him and recovered the stolen jewellery.

The police also requested the public to be cautious and avoid dressing up their children with valuable jewelleries. The accused was remanded to judicial custody.
