Woman allegedly pressures daughter into prostitution, case filed in Alwal PS

HYDERABAD: In a disturbing incident from Alwal, a mother has been accused of pressuring her own daughter into prostitution. Unable to bear the harassment, the young woman fled from home and lodged a complaint at the Alwal police station.

Responding to the complaint, the police transferred the victim to a Sakhi Centre, a support facility for women. Following this, the girl's mother, along with another woman supporting her, created a commotion outside the Alwal police station.

The police have registered a case against both women involved in the incident, and investigations are underway.
