Woman attacked for rejecting love proposal in Krishna district

VIJAYAWADA: A young man brutally attacked a woman for rejecting his love in Movva Pedda Harijanwada of Pamarru mandal in the Krishna district. The young man attacked the woman with a knife and also stabbed her mother and two younger sisters.

Nagadeshi Joy, a local, is harassing a young woman from Harijanawada over love for quite some time. The young man, who got angry with the woman rejecting his love, went to her house and made a love proposal once again. As she refused, he was infuriated and attacked her and her mother and two sisters.

The injured were shifted to Machilipatnam Government Hospital. It is reported that the condition of the young woman is critical. The police reached the spot and registered a case and started an investigation.

Meanwhile, the mother of the victim cursed the accused for causing harm to her children and demanded that the police arrest and punish him severely so that no mother should face such hardship.
