Woman dies of heart attack after seeing brother's body in Jangaon

HYDERABAD: A heart-wrenching incident occurred in Jangaon district, where a sister passed away after the death of her brother. The tragic event unfolded in Nellutla village of Lingalaghanpur mandal when 50-year-old Gadipelli Shankar died due to illness.

His elder sister, Kolupula Rukumbayi (54), who lived in the same village, could not bear the shock of seeing her brother's body. Overwhelmed with grief, she collapsed and was rushed to a private hospital in Jangaon, where she later died while receiving treatment.

Shankar’s funeral rites were completed yesterday, and arrangements are now being made for Rukumbayi’s final rites. The double tragedy has cast a shadow of grief over the village, leaving family members and locals in mourning.
