HYDERABAD: BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao criticised a Congress minister for allegedly meeting Gautam Adani in Hyderabad shortly after an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid.

In his tweet, KTR implied that there was a questionable exchange between the minister and Adani, which he referred to as a "washing machine" tactic - a term often used to suggest political compromises or deals to clear allegations.

KTR outlined a sequence of events starting with an ED raid on the Congress minister, followed by a secret meeting with Adani in Hyderabad a few days later. "Washing machine turned ON," KTR wrote, hinting at the minister trying to clear himself of charges through the alleged connection with Adani. He added that there had been complete silence from both parties regarding the meeting, calling it "All Hush Hush."

KTR tagged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the tweet, sarcastically commending him and adding, "Dilli Mein Kusti, Gully Mein Dosti" (Wrestling in Delhi, Friendship in the alley), indicating a disparity between public opposition and behind-the-scenes negotiations. The remark suggested that while Rahul Gandhi criticises certain entities publicly, his party members are privately making deals with them.
