Man seen walking dangerously between windows at Charminar
Police suspect the individual could be a construction worker at the site.
HYDERABAD: A man was seen walking precariously between two windows on the historic Charminar in Hyderabad.
The incident, which occurred recently, caused concern among onlookers, as the individual appeared to be at significant risk of falling while navigating the narrow ledges of the monument.
Police suspect that the person might be one of the workers currently involved in ongoing maintenance activities at the site. The authorities are investigating whether the individual had official permission to access these areas or if this was an unauthorised act.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the man without any safety equipment, which heightened concerns about the risk involved. Charminar, one of Hyderabad's most visited heritage structures, is currently undergoing minor repairs, which may have led to this incident.
The police are now attempting to confirm the identity of the individual and have warned against any unauthorised access to restricted sections of the monument. They have also urged construction teams working on heritage sites to ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
