VIJAYAWADA: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted a raid on the residence of Jogi Ramesh, former minister and YSRCP leader, in Ibrahimpatnam, NTR district, Andhra Pradesh. The raid, which began at 5 am on Tuesday, involved 15 ACB officers and focused on allegations of irregularities related to Agri Gold land dealings.

Ramesh is accused of purchasing and selling Agri Gold land seized by the CID. Allegations also suggest that survey numbers were manipulated in Ambapuram, Vijayawada Rural, to facilitate the registration of Agri Gold land under his name.

The ACB received complaints specifically regarding Ramesh's involvement in the Agri Gold land scam. The case involves nine individuals, including Ramesh and his family members listed as A1 and A2 and several government officials. The CID had previously filed cases against the accused.

The ACB officials are currently examining records and documents related to the case. This is not the first time Ramesh has been under scrutiny. He is also facing charges concerning the Chandrababu Naidu residence raid case and the Agri Gold land dispute. Last month, the Director General of Police ordered an inquiry into the land dispute, prompting the ACB's involvement.
