Amaravati will be Andhra Capital, assert Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan
The TDP president along with Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan participated in Sankranti celebrations at Mandadam village of Amaravati capital area on Sunday.
AMARAVATI: Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has assured the people that Amaravati will be the forever capital of Andhra Pradesh, while Visakhapatnam will be developed as an economic capital and will establish a high court bench in Kurnool.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president along with Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan participated in Sankranti celebrations at Mandadam village of Amaravati capital area on Sunday and burnt GOs issued by the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government in the ‘Bhogi’ fire to symbolise the end of the YSRCP rule in the State.
“The countdown has begun, there are only 87 days left for the Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government. I urge the people of AP to throw this sadistic Government and bring TDP-JSP combine,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
Thanking the farmers of Amaravati who gave away 35,000 acres of precious land for the construction of a capital city, Naidu said the same farmers were belittled and tortured by the Government with the help of police.
“Drones were flown over bathrooms where women were taking baths, tents were removed forcing agitating farmers to eat under hot sun and rain. The police behaved very cruelly. But they must remember that in democracy things change. They must also vote for TDP-JSP if they want a good future for their children,” Naidu said.
He assured them that if voted to power he would make all the farmers as partners in development and create wealth. He said that one acre of land near Hitech City in Hyderabad fetched a value of Rs 100 crore. “If I continued as CM of AP each acre of the additional 8,000 acres in Amaravati would have fetched Rs 3 lakh crore. But you elected a sadist who started with the demolition of Praja Vedika, as he doesn't know how to create wealth," Naidu pointed out.
Assuring to provide a stable Government along with TDP, Pawan Kalyan said that the TDP-JSP combine would move forward with the slogan of ‘Jai Amaravti, Jai Andhra’.
Reminding the people that problem of the farmers of Amaravati was not limited to them but could happened people in Srikakulam or even Pulivendula. He called upon people to defeat YSRCP for a bight future of the State.
