Andhra Pradesh: Women, elders turn out in large numbers, YS Jagan, Chandrababu cast votes
Simultaneous polling for all 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh is going on peacefully.
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Telugu Desam Party President, N. Chandrababu Naidu, exercised their voting rights in the first hour of Monday.
Jagan Mohan Reddy cast his vote in Bhakarapuram, Pulivendula, Kadapa district, while Chandrababu Naidu exercised his franchise at Undavalli, Guntur district.
Accompanied by his wife Bharati, Jagan Mohan Reddy cast his vote in the Pulivendula Assembly constituency, from where he is seeking re-election.
Chandrababu Naidu and his family voted at a polling centre in Undavalli, Guntur district. The former chief minister was accompanied by his wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, their son, Nara Lokesh, and daughter-in-law, Brahmani. They cast their votes at the polling centre of Undavalli Mandal Parishad Primary School.
Chandrababu Naidu is seeking re-election from the Kuppam constituency in his native Chittoor district. He and his family members cast their votes in the Mangalagiri constituency, where Lokesh is the TDP candidate.
