AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will meet on June 21 (Friday) and June 22 in two sessions.

Governor Abdul Nazeer will administer the oath of office to Rajahmundry Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary as the pro-tem speaker on June 20.

On June 21, the pro-tem speaker will then administer the oath of office to newly-elected MLAs. In these two days, the oath-taking of the members and the election of the Speaker will also be completed.

However, a full-fledged assembly session will be held again in a couple of weeks to enable the TDP Government to table white papers on different subjects. Due to the elections, the Jagan Government could only introduce a vote on account.

Meanwhile, there is no clarity on whether YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will attend the session on Friday.
