AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting is scheduled for October 10, where key issues, including a new liquor policy, will be discussed.

According to sources, the meeting will also address the distribution of three gas cylinders per household, the implementation of the P-4 programme, and the cancellation of garbage taxes. Discussions on providing tap water through the Jal Jeevan Mission and the construction progress of the Polavaram project are also expected.

A resolution on the reconstruction of Amaravati as the state capital is on the agenda. The meeting, to be chaired by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, will be attended by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, ministers, the Chief Secretary, and other senior officials.

Given the upcoming Dussehra festivities, the Cabinet may announce measures aimed at benefiting the public, possibly bringing some good news to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
