AP Governor offers special prayers at Tirumala

TIRUMALA: Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer accompanied by his family offered special prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala on Sunday.
On his arrival near the temple's main entrance, Abdul Nazeer was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman Bhumana Karunakara Reddy, executive officer AV Dharma Reddy and other officials.
The temple priests welcomed the Governor couple with the traditional 'Isthikaphal' with recitation of Vedic hymns. Abdul Nazeer and his spouse offered prayers inside the sanctum sanctorum and were presented with Sesha Vastram. At Ranganayakula Mandapam, temple priests offered Vedasirvachanam to him.
Later, the temple officials presented the portrait of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy, prasadam, calendars and diaries of TTD for the year 2024. Later, the Governor left for Renigunta airport and left for Vijayawada.
