The petitioner alleged the involvement of Health Minister Vidadala Rajini in the issuance of the NOC for the granite excavations in 91 acres of an assigned land. Taking up the petition for hearing, the High Court issued notices to the Minister and the others, asking them to furnish their responses over the matter.

The High Court later adjourned the next hearing on the writ petition by three weeks.
