AP High Court directs CID not to arrest Naidu in Angallu case till Thursday, in IRR case till Monday
The High Court also gave its direction in the PT warrant petition filed by the CID in the AC special court in Vijayawada asking the CID not to approach the prison to arrest Naidu in the IRR case
HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh High Court dealing with two different anticipatory bail petitions filed by former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu currently jailed in Rajamahendravaram Central Prison, in its interim orders directed the CID not to arrest him till Thursday in the Angallu attempt to murder case and till next Monday in IRR alignment scam case.
The High Court also gave its direction in the PT warrant petition filed by the CID in the AC special court in Vijayawada asking the CID not to approach the prison to arrest Naidu in the IRR case. The former CM approached the High Court for anticipatory bail after the ACB court dismissed his bail petitions.
The High Court which directed Naidu’s advocates to file regular interim bail petitions in place of lunch motion petitions took the bail petitions for hearing on Wednesday. Advocate General S Subramanya Sriram and Dammalapati Srinivas argued for the CID and Naidu respectively.
