HYDERABAD: It seems there is no stopping for Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrashekhar Rao ever since the TRS changed to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in foraying into national politics with an objective of bringing farmer-centric government at the Centre, as the party is spreading its tentacles fast into the grassroots of neighbouring Telugu state. The eruption of massive flexes across the state on the occasion of the Sankranti festival is proof enough for this.

With Andhra Pradesh lagging behind with respect to development of the state, people and most of the leaders are looking for an alternative and the BRS seems to be alternative to witnessing a change in the state. People in Andhra Pradesh are extending massive support to the BRS headed by KCR.

On the ocassion of the Sankranti festival, massive flexes were out up in and around twin Godavari districts which carried pictures of BRS chief KCR and Andhra Pradesh state BRS chief Thota Chandrasekhar extending greetings to the people. The latest situation has grabbed the attention of the people.

These flexes were erected in Yanam, I Polavaram, Mamidivaram, Mukkamala, Kakinada Bhanugudi flyover, Kothapet highway, Kadium highway Avidirevu, etc.

It is well known that four leaders from the Jana Sena party in the likes of Thota Chandrasekhar, Ravela Kishore Babu, Parthasarathi, and Prakash joined the ranks of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi.

Thota Chandrasekhar, a former IAS officer, was made the president of the Andhra Pradesh BRS unit.

However, the appointment of Thota Chandrasekhar, a prominent Kapu leader, has turned detrimental to the Jana Sena party in particular and the TDP in general, as it (BRS) would split the Kapu votes that would be a big blow to the prospects of TDP and Jana Sena who are likely to contest in alliance to pull down YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

Meanwhile, the foray of BRS has come as a big relief for the ruling YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh, as it would split Kapu votes thus helping YS Jagan to retain the power once again. The TDP sources are grudgingly alleging that KCR is spreading his BRS party in Andhra Pradesh only to rescue YS Jagan as he is facing anti-incumbency.

Overall, BRS is sending shivers down the spine of Jana Sena and the TDP and who knows it would turn a major force in Andhra Pradesh as well, going by the KCR's track record who can change the situation to his side at any moment.
