Cabinet sub-committee formed to review land allotments in Amaravati

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh government has formed a cabinet sub-committee comprising six ministers to review land allotments to various public sector organisations in the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) area of Amaravati.

The committee includes Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana, Mines and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra, Women and Child Welfare Minister Sandhya Rani, Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh, and Industries Minister TG Bharat. The Municipal Administration Secretary will serve as the convenor of the committee, with the secretaries of the respective departments joining as special invitees.

The committee will review past land allotments, assess the use of allotted land, and suggest necessary changes. It will also examine requests, identify world-class companies across sectors, and assist in setting them up in Amaravati. The sub-committee will oversee the progress of land allotments and provide recommendations to the government.
