AMARAVATI: Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will kickstart ‘Nijam Gelavali’ from next week in Andhra Pradesh to console the families of those who died following the illegal arrest of Naidu.

As many as 105 people died out of sorrow because they couldn't bear the illegal arrest of Naidu, according to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders. Buoyed by the success of the daylong hunger strike ‘Satyameva Jayate’ at Rajamahendravaram on October 2, the TDP planned to organise a series of programmes to reach out to the people in the State.

As part of it, Bhuvaneswari decided to enter into the public arena through the 'Nijam Gelavali' campaign and would tour various parts of the State twice or thrice in a week. Apart from that, the TDP also decided to restart the ‘Babu Surety-Bhavisyathuku Guarantee’ programme with TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh replacing his father Naidu.

Party sources also said that Lokesh would resume the ‘Yuva Galam’ padyatra soon after Naidu was released from jail. To this extent, an extensive meeting of the party would be held in the next four to five days to review the party programmes.
