Chandrababu Naidu’s bail petition in IRR scam case posted to Wednesday

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh High Court hearing the anticipatory bail petition of former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road (IRR) scam case posted further hearing to Wednesday.

The court also gave relief to Naidu by extending bail in the IRR case to Wednesday. Countering the arguments of advocates of Chandrababu Naidu, the CID filed a 500-page counter urging the court not to extend the bail.

Last Wednesday, the High Court granted anticipatory bail to Naidu and the bail period ended on Monday.
