Three days later, the girl’s body was found. The preliminary medical reports, according to Dr. Anitha, indicated that there was no evidence of sexual assault. The minister confirmed that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the case, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend two more individuals.

The Home Minister also criticised Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for attempting to politicise the incident, stating that it was inappropriate to use such a tragic case for political gains.
