CM YS Jagan visits Visakha Sarada Peetham, seeks blessings of Raja Shyamala

VISAKHAPATNAM: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the Visakha Sarada Peetham here at Pedamushidivada on Wednesday. He was personally invited to be a part of the Raja Shyamala Yaga at the Peetham by the junior seer Sri Swatmanandendra Saraswati.

Chief Minister reached Visakhapatnam from Tadepalli and took part in rituals such as 'Rajasyamala yagam', 'Rudra homam' and 'Poornahuti' led by the main pontiff of the Peetham Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi and junior seer. Dressed in white silk traditional robes, the Chief Minister wished every member of the Peetham and students of the Veda Pathashala affectiontely.

Earlier, the Chief Minister was accorded a warm welcome by the members of the Peetham. Accompanied by YS Subba Reddy he then offered prayers at the Vijaya Ganapathi, Sankaracharya, Subrahmanyeswara Swamy, and Vana Durga temples inside the premises.
