Gajuwaka MLA’s son Devan Reddy resigns from YSRCP

VISAKHAPATNAM: In a jolt to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in Northern Andhra region, Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagireddy’s son Devan Reddy on Monday resigned from the party.
He was in-charge of YSRCP Gajuwaka Assembly constituency. Devan Reddy tendered his resignation from the party and his in-charge position after he learnt that the party leadership allotted Gajuwaka ticket to Yadav community.
Devan Reddy’s father and MLA Tippala Nagireddy defeated Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan in the 2019 Assembly elections. Earlier in the day, Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy also resigned from the party and cited personal reasons.
