Geological Survey of India finds Gold reserves in Aspari mandal of Kurnool

KURNOOL: The Geological Survey of India (GSI) conducted a preliminary survey and found the presence of gold deposits in the Aspari mandal of the Aluru segment of Kurnool district.
The GSI also decided to undertake a comprehensive study on the extent of availability of Gold ore in the area and its quality. Already the GSI started mining Gold in the Pathikonda segment of Tuggali mandal of Kurnnol district.
The GSI officials shared the details of the newly found mine in Aspari with the State mining authorities. The GSI would complete the comprehensive survey of the Aspari mine within the current financial year.
