GVMC slaps notice on YSRCP office in Vizag, built without permission

AMARAVATI: The town planning office of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has slapped a notice on the YSRCP office which was under construction alleging that the construction was carried out without permission on two acres of land in survey number 175/4 in Endada.

GVMC sought clarification from the concerned persons on applying to VMRDA for permissions instead of GVMC and completing constructions without getting the required permissions.

Zone-2 town planning officer pasted a notice on the YSRCP office stating that further action will be taken if the proper explanation is not given within a week.

The notice mentioned that it was observed that the said file is under scrutiny by VMRDA authorities and the YSRCP proceeded with unauthorised construction of the BCC building ground and first floor nearly an extent of two acres adjacent to the Law College road on survey number 175/4 of Endada Village.

“Therefore, you are hereby directed to show cause reply in writing by you/your authorised agent. Further, you are hereby directed to stop the work and submit a reply within seven days from the date of receipt of this notice failing which further action will be taken as per due procedure,” the town planning officer 6/24 Zone-IL, GVMC said.
