AMARAVATI: On a day of hectic legal activity, the ACB Special Court and the Andhra Pradesh High Court heard arguments of advocates representing the AP CID and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

At the ACB court, the judge posted further hearings on the bail petition of Naidu and the custody petition filed by the CID on October 4. The CID sought five-day custody of Naidu in the Rs 371 crore skill development scam case.

The ACB judge who initially posted both the petitions for October 5, preponed the hearing to October 4, when the counsel for the CID urged the court to consider the upcoming hearing of the quash petition at the Supreme Court on October 3. Putting an end to the issue of precedence of custody over the bail petition, the judge said that she would hear both arguments on October 4 and deliver the verdict on the same day.
