In coastal areas like Kothapatnam near Ongole, the sea has become rough, with waves rising two feet higher than usual. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea, and local authorities have alerted residents living near the shoreline. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have been deployed to assist in relief efforts as winds are expected to reach speeds of 50-60 km/h.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the rains will likely continue for the next two to three days. Officials are urging people to avoid non-essential travel and take precautions during this period of intense weather.
