High Court posts Chandrababu Naidu’s anticipatory bail hearing to November 7, extends stay on PT warrant

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday posted hearing on the anticipatory bail petition filed by former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road (IRR) case to November 7. The Court also extended stay on the PT warrant issued by the ACB court in the same case.

Earlier, the Court extended the anticipatory bail till October 18 and directed the AP CID not to arrest Naidu in the IRR case till Wednesday. With the posting of the hearing to November 7, the CID would have to wait for further orders till that day.

The Court last Monday dismissed anticipatory bail petitions of co-accused P Narayana his wife P Ramadevi, brother-in-law Sambasiva Rao and ‘benami’ Prameela.

The AP CID booked a case against Nara Lokesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and P Narayana based on a complaint lodged by the YSRCP Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, in 2022.
