ISRO team offers prayers at Tirumala temple for SSLV-D2 success

TIRUPATI: Senior officials from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Thursday paid a visit to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala and offered prayers to the presiding deity ahead of a crucial rocket launch on February 10, 2023.
SSLV-D2, the second developmental flight of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV), is scheduled for launch at 9.18 am on February 10, 2023 from the first launch pad at SDSC SHAR in Sriharikota.
The ISRO team, during their visit to the temple, took part in a special puja seeking divine blessings for the success in their latest space mission. Authorities of the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) honoured them with silk robes even as vedic scholars chanted hymns and offered them blessings at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. They were later offered the Lord’s thirda prasadams.
