Jagan promises medical support to 8-year-old thalassemia patient
Jagan has once again shown his generosity by interacting with a woman, whose daughter is a thalassemia patient
PRAKASAM: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has once again shown his generosity by interacting with a woman, whose daughter is a thalassemia patient. The Chief Minister had assured support from the Government.
During his visit to a wedding reception here on Tuesday, Nishitha Kumari, mother of eight-year-old Sanvika, told the Chief Minister that her daughter must undergo blood transfusion twice a month which costs over Rs 12,000.
She said that about Rs 30 lakh was required for a bone marrow treatment. The mother said that her husband had deserted her and she was working as a veterinary assistant and was unable to bear the expenses.
Responding to her plea, the Chief Minister interacted with Sanvika. Jagan asked the District Collector to initiate the process of providing medical support to the mother
