Jana Sena leader Kiran Royal wants Pothina Mahesh to apologise for comments against Pawan Kalyan
Recalling Pothina’s earlier statements that he would rather slash his hand than leave JSP, Kiran Royal said that the JSP workers would send him a coconut-cutting knife by courier.
TIRUPATI: Jana Sena Party’s Tirupati in charge Kiran Royal demanded an apology from the party’s Vijayawada west Assembly Constituency in charge Pothina Venkata Mahesh to party chief Pawan Kalyan. Pothina joined the YSRCP on Wednesday in the presence of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Palnadu.
“I wished for a nomination in Tirupati but the party has allocated the seat to a former YSRCP leader. But as a sincere JSP leader, I kept quiet. I didn’t react like you,” Kiran Royal said in a statement. He said that Pothina was a novice and it was Pawan Kalyan who groomed him into a leader by allocating the Vijayawada west seat in 2019.
“Just because he could not accommodate you this time for a bigger and more pertinent purpose of defeating the YSRCP by restricting a split in the anti-incumbency seat, you can't cast aspersion on him,” Kiran Royal said.
Recalling Pothina’s earlier statements that he would rather slash his hand than leave JSP, Kiran Royal said that the JSP workers would send him a coconut-cutting knife by courier and he should be ready to receive it and put it to use.
