It may be recalled that a leopard attacked on boy on the walkway five months ago.

The body of the child was shifted to Ruya Hospital in Tirupati. The beast apparently attacked her neck and mauled her face.

The TTD forest officials, including Chief Conservator of Forests Nageswara Rao and Forest officer Srinivasulu, reached the hospital.

BJP leader Bhanu Prakash Reddy alleged that the negligence of officials was responsible for the unfortunate incident.

The officials had failed to initiate any action even after a leopard attacked a boy, Kaushik. He demanded that the Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanam officials explain what steps they initiated at deserted places on the walkway.

He said that he would collect the information and draw the attention of the Union Government on this issue.
