Macherla Court remands Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy for 14 days in Nellore Jail, gives bail in EVM damage, attack on woman cases

Former MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy has been remanded to 14-day judicial custody by the Macherla Junior Civil Court on Thursday in the assault cases of TDP agent Namburi Seshagiri Rao and Karampudi CI cases.

NARSARAOPET: Former MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy has been remanded to 14-day judicial custody by the Macherla Junior Civil Court on Thursday in the assault cases of TDP agent Namburi Seshagiri Rao and Karampudi CI cases.

However, he was granted bail in cases of damaging an EVM and assault on a woman on polling day.

The judge ordered that Pinnelli be shifted to Nellore jail.

Meanwhile, Pinnelli punched TDP activist Komera Siva in the stomach while he was taken into custody by the police to be taken to Palnadu district court. The arguments of lawyers of both sides went on from 11 pm to 3 am afterward the judge gave the verdict.
