VISAKHAPATNAM: A 49-year-old man was killed while he was engaged in an argument where his nephew was speaking on his phone and had his loudspeaker turned on.

Akkireddy Bangarraju, a resident of Ramavaram in Gandigundam, living under the jurisdiction of the Anandapuram Police Station, was speaking on the phone and had turned on his loudspeaker in front of his house. At the same time, Banka Ajay, a boxer, and his friend Ramana, were passing by on a two-wheeler and were disturbed by Bangarraju's call.

Ajay confronted Bangarraju and asked him to turn off the loudspeaker, leading to an altercation between the two. However, Ajay's friend attempted to intervene and calm the two. Later, Bangarraju's wife as well as his uncle, identified as Bhimavarapu Demudu, came out and started an argument with Ajay. Unfortunately, this confrontation escalated, resulting in an attack on Demudu. He allegedly lost his life on the spot. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police, headed by Circle Inspector Ramachandra Rao, registered a case and initiated an investigation.
