AMARAVATI: TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, who was arrested on Saturday morning, was brought to the office of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the CID for interogation and preparation of remand report. However, Naidu reportedly refused to answer to the 20 questions posed by the SIT. Naidu requested the SIT aouthorities to allow four of his advocates to meet him. Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu wife Bhuvaneswari, son Lokesh and other family members reached the SIT office. The CID officials allowed Bhuvaneswari and Lokesh to meet Naidu. His brother-in-law and Hindupur MLA N Balakrishna went to Vijayawada in a chartered aircraft from Begumpet Airport. Naidu will be taken to the hospital for medical tests before producing him in front of the ACB Court judge. The suspense over the outcome of the ruling by the judge continues to get revved up.
According to an unofficial note circulated in media groups, the following is the chronology of events during the interrogation of Chandrababu Naidu by CID sleuths.
• Sources: Chandrababu is not cooperating with the investigation. He isn’t replying properly to any question raised by officials
• CID officials fired 20 pertinent questions pertaining to irregularities in the skill development scam
• In between Chandrababu lost his cool when CID officers kept asking pertinent questions. But his face expressions turned serious when the officials elaborated on skill development irregularities and hawala transactions
• CID officers showed the note files written by the officers at that time but he denied any role
• CID officials also showed Chandrababu WhatsApp chat between Chandrababu personal secretary Pendyala Srinivas and representatives of shell companies. When questioned about the chat, Chandrababu feigned ignorance
• To most questions, Chandrababu’s answer was- I don't know, I don't remember.
