Meanwhile, the Supreme Court refused to interfere in the issuance of bail by the Andhra Pradesh High Court to the TDP leaders Devineni Umamheswara Rao , Pulivarti Nani, and Nallari Kishore in the Angallu, Punganuru clashes case.

The Andhra Pradesh Government on Tuesday sought quashing of the bail given by the High Court to the three leaders in the attempt to murder case in the Angallu incident. The counsel for the State Government argued that several police were hurt in the clashes instigated by the TDP and one officer lost his sight during the clashes. However, the Apex court rejecting their plea said that it would not interfere with the decision taken by the lower court.
