AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh's newly appointed Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy paid a visit to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office here on Thursday. Jawahar Reddy took over as the Chief Secretary on Wednesday evening.

The Chief Minister greeted the new Chief Secretary and desired he effectively ensured the implementation of the policies and programmes of the State Government. Dr Jawahar Reddy thanked the Chief Minister for giving him am opportunity to become the Chief Secretary.

Sameer Sharma, Poonam call on CM


Former Chief Secretary Dr Sameer Sharma, who took over as Chairman of the Pollution Control Board and Chief Executive to the CM on Thursday, also paid a visit to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy here.

Poonam Malakondaiah, the Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, also visited the CM. Sameer Sharma was made CS in October 2020. He was to retire in November 2020. However, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy used his good offices with the Centre and got extensions of six months each twice for him.
