No objectionable posts in social media against YS Jagan, EC tells TDP

AMARAVATI: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Andhra Pradesh Mukesh Kumar Meena served a notice to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu giving him 24 hours to ensure that all the objectionable posts uploaded by the TDP social media wing are removed.

Responding to a complaint filed by YSCRCP MLC Lella Appi Reddy, the CEO said that the posts were found to be demeaning and inappropriate against the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), hence the TDP must remove them immediately.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Saket Gokhale in a complaint to the CEO, of Andhra Pradesh that the Prime Minister used an airforce helicopter to arrive at the NDA’s Chilakaluripet public meeting on Sunday. He mentioned that an IAF chopper with tail number 5236 was used by the PM against the MCC laid down by the Election Commission of India.
