HYDERABAD: Jana Sena Party (JSP) president and actor Pawan Kalyan’s chartered aircraft was not allowed to take off for Vijayawada from Begumpet Airport here on Saturday. He was leaving for Vijayawada to meet TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh CID in connection with the Skill Development Corporation scam.

However, Krishna district police reportedly told him that his visit might lead to law and order problems. According to protocol, chartered flight would be allowed to take off only if there is permission to land at the destination. With Krishna district police denying permission, Pawan Kalyan wasn't allowed to board his aircraft.

Meanwhile, Jana Sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar, who was waiting at the Gannavaram airport, condemned the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu and said ,"Jana Sena condemns the actions taken against political parties and individuals who are fighting on behalf of the people. Why is this administration anarchic? Why are you afraid of Pawan Kalyan coming? Pawan Kalyan was planning to come to Mangalagiri party office for a meeting with senior leaders regarding activities in the future."

Condemning the YSRCP Government, Manohar said, "Why is this Government bothering the people who are living democratically. They are creating political havoc in the State. All the RTC buses were stopped in the State today. Everywhere you look, the police are making compulsory arrests. Only YSRCP leaders are creating law and ordér problems."
