Pawan Kalyan prays at Kanaka Durga temple, calls for end of YS Jagan rule

VIJAYAWADA: Jana Sena president and Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday described the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh as devil’s rule and claimed that his main objective was to see the end of it. He was addressing the gathering after offering prayers at the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada and performing special puja for his election campaign vehicle Varahi.
The actor-turned-politician offered a saree and bangles to the presiding deity, as part of a traditional ritual. The Jana Sena president was blessed by the temple priests amid chanting of Vedic hymns. Special pujas were also performed to his election campaign vehicle at the tollgate of the Indrakeeladri Hill.
Pawan Kalyan was accompanied by Jana Sena PAC chairman Nadendla Manohar and other leaders from Vijayawada. The Jana Sena President was accorded a rousing welcome all along his journey up to the hilltop temple.
