AMARAVATI: Senior TDP leader Palla Srinivas Rao has been appointed as the new State president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh.
While Kinjarapu Atchannaidu served as the president of AP TDP until now, he resigned from the position after securing a ministerial role in Chandrababu's cabinet.
Following Atchannaidu's resignation, Chandrababu entrusted the leadership of AP TDP to Palla Srinivasa Rao. Rao, who secured a landslide victory from the Gajuwaka constituency in the recent Andhra Pradesh assembly election, now assumes the helm of the party with the largest majority in the state.
